Hi, I'm Swathi

I am currently completing my Master of Clinical Psychology and was honoured to receive the APS Prize in Psychology at Deakin University in 2025 for academic excellence. I offer dedicated tutoring for university students navigating the complexities of undergraduate and Honours-level psychology.

My Approach

Psychology is intellectually demanding, especially as you progress into later year levels. The expectations for critical analysis and statistical rigour increase significantly. My goal isn’t just to help you "get through" the content, but to help you develop a deeper, more intuitive understanding of the field.

I believe tutoring works best when it is a collaboration. Our sessions will be guided by your needs, whether that is untangling complex ideas, refining your research thesis, preparing for of Master's application and interviews, or figuring out the specific strategies that will empower your own learning.

About Me

My approach is shaped by a unique "dual perspective" in Psychology and Education. Before transitioning to psychology, I worked as a teacher and earned a Master of Educational Psychology. This background in education means I care deeply about how people learn.

I also bring a broad international perspective to my practice. Having lived and worked in Canada, the United States, India, and Australia, I’ve collaborated with students from incredibly diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. I am committed to creating a supportive, inclusive learning environment where every student feels capable of engaging with the material and succeeding.

Rates & Sessions

I aim to provide tutoring that is both affordable for students and sustainable for myself. I believe that financial barriers shouldn't prevent you from succeeding in your studies.

If you are currently in a position where this rate is out of reach but you truly need academic support, please reach out. I am happy to have a conversation about how we might make our sessions work for you.
